    Paid or volunteer Firefighters, EMS, and Police Officers will be allowed to register and participate in the climb. **Public will now be allowed to register.
  • WHAT?
    The HCESD2 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is an opportunity for First Responders to remember and honor their fallen brothers and sisters.
  • WHEN?
    HCESD2 9/11 Memorial Climb is Saturday, September 9th - Arrival is 0645 to 0700 - Registration is 0700 to 0745 - Opening Ceremony is 0830 - Climbs Start at 0930 - Climbs end by 3:00 PM
  • WHERE?
    HCESD2 9/11 Memorial Climb will take place in downtown Beaumont at the Edison Plaza. - 350 Pine St., Beaumont, TX 77701
  • WHY?
    Our Mission To raise funds and proceeds to go to the NFFF to help create and maintain programs that support fire service survivors. Your support of the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb events provides assistance to the surviving families and co-workers of the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice that day. To raise proceeds to benefit our local 501c3 Spindletop FOOLS Regional Training Group. Our Vision To create an annual event to bring together our region publicly and departmentally. To create avenues for other events such as cancer awareness. To keep climbing for the firefighters who continue to assume the risks to protect their communities.
    There will be an opening ceremony and group photo before the climbs begin. The registration fee is $35 until July 27. It will increase to $60 on July 28 Online registration will close August 29th No team registrations. Individuals only permitted. Please have ID and all applicable registration papers printed and ready, you will be handed a badge and shirt at registration. Participants must agree to all waiver releases, rules and regulations to participate. Climbers should read, understand and agree to all rules, regulations, and releases. Climbers will be tailored to the 343 firefighters, 70 law, and 9 EMS spots. Once the spots are filled, climbs will be directed toward the 343 firefighters. Please indicate on the Climber Registration form if you have someone specific you wish to dedicate your climb to. Climbers should consult their physician and have physical conditioning training prior to this event. In the event you can no longer participate, please notify your team POC.
